Bryant & Stratton Open XC Season
The Men’s Cross Country team opened its season at the University of Rochester Invitational 8K (5 mile) on Saturday, September 15, 2012.. It was an eye-opening experience for the young and mostly inexperienced squad as the 24 team field and nearly 350 runners was comprised of five nationally-ranked Division III teams as well as squads representing Division I (Cornell) and Division II Le Moyne. Cornell easily outdistanced the field placing the first five runners across the finish line.
Bryant & Stratton was led by frosh Jonathan Celeya in a time of 30:22 (6:07 per mile pace). Another frosh, Daouda Ndiaye, showed he is adapting to the five mile distance running 34:05 (6:52/mile).
Next up is the Cortland Invitational on Saturday September 22.
Syracuse's Bryant & Stratton College is looking to build its XC team. They are a Division 1 Junior College institution so they can offer athletic scholarships. The small class sizes and no ACT/SAT requirements make it an ideal option for those students who will benefit by having that personal educational experience. Newly refurbished dorms are available for those who need housing. Head Coach Kelly says that he currently has several women's scholarships available for this Fall and would like to hear from any interested students or coaches who might know of viable candidates. He can be reached at (315)796-2100 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Bryant & Stratton College is pleased to announce that Kevin Kelly has joined the College as our new Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach. Kevin recently relocated back to the Syracuse area from Atlanta, Georgia.
Along with being a nationally ranked Masters runner himself, Kevin brings 8 years experience as the Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach at Reinhardt College. We are excited about the coaching and recruiting experience Kevin brings to our Cross Country program.
